Short version: the only personal information we collect is what you type into the classroom form, and we use it to send you books.

What we collect

Two forms on this site ask for information, and they are the only things that do.

• The classroom request form stores the name, email address, role, school or organization, location, age group, number of children and any notes you provide.
• The “tell me when it's out” form stores your email address and which book you asked about. Nothing else.

What we do not do

• We do not run analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts on this site.
• We do not set cookies.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone else.
• We do not add you to a marketing list. If you ask to hear about a book, you get one email when that book goes on sale — not a newsletter.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a database operated by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and are readable only by us. We keep a request for as long as it takes to fulfill it, and no more than two years.

Children

This site is written for grown-ups. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the classroom form asks only about a class as a whole — never about individual children. Please do not send us children's names.

Your choices

Email hello@happydancebooks.com and ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We will do it.
